Description

The panoramic court has combined double support columns at the corners, which give the structure more stability for demanding outdoor sites. It was designed by mechanical engineers for extreme wind loads: the standard structure withstands wind speeds of up to 71.5 m/s, the reinforced version up to 80.5 m/s. All structural parts are hot-dip galvanised steel.

Steel structure

Columns and beams are high-grade Q235B steel, hot-dip galvanised in three layers for a service life of more than 20 years, even in wet conditions. Electrostatic powder coating is applied in stages on an automated line: an outdoor zinc primer first, then two coats of outdoor powder paint, for an even colour and strong corrosion protection. All parts are cut, drilled and machined on CNC equipment to drawing tolerances, which cuts installation time and cost by up to 35 %.

Mesh fence

Hot-dip galvanised wire, 4 mm in diameter, with 50 × 50 mm openings in 1 × 2 m frames. Each segment is welded individually, every weld is ground and rounded, and the mesh is shot-blasted before the zinc powder coat, so there are no sharp edges or snag points.

Glass

18 tempered float glass panels, 2995 × 1995 mm, each with 8 countersunk holes, to EN 12150-1 with CE marking and SGCC, IGCC, ISO, CSI, SAI Global, AS/NZS 4666 and CCC certification. The edges are fully ground and the holes precisely machined. The risk of spontaneous breakage after tempering is very low, and the glass withstands sudden temperature differences of up to 300 °C. Glass fixings are 5 mm grade 304 stainless steel.

Turf

High-linear-density PE yarn, 10 000 dtex, 58 800 stitches/m², on a three-layer PP + PP + SBR backing with a double-layer twill weave that resists tearing and wrinkling. The white lines are woven into the turf, so no gluing is needed and installation is about 3 days shorter. Blue or green as standard; a custom colour is possible.

Lighting

8 × 200 W IP65 LED floodlights with adjustable beam direction, mounted on 6000 mm columns inside the fence line, give up to 300 lx of even light. The slim housings are made of outdoor-grade materials.

Foundation

A reinforced concrete slab of 20.8 × 10.8 m per court, at least 150 mm thick, with 12 mm bars at 250 mm centres. When the concrete work is finished, the slab must be checked for level before installation.
